So i see Google's Chrome is still listed as the leader since Sep 19th 2011.

Can anyone beat my score on this free browser benchmark ?

I think your computer is running slowly. My laptop is loaded with addons and other stuff running in the background and I got a much higher score...

benchmark.png

I don't know if my laptop is just fast or what...

AMD A6-4400M 2.4-3.2 Ghz

Radeon HD 7520g 4GB Graphics Card

8GB DDR3 RAM @1066Mhz

640GB HDD @5400rpm.

Guessing you were using FF v19 too ?

and i had plenty of stuff running and i have no over clocking done anymore and i am using CPU throttling

that cuts down on the speed, muliplier and voltage.. same with my gpu.

i was running WMC watching tv and some other stuff so that might have affected my score a bit

were you able to click on details and see the full score results ? i just got a big blank window :(

my older scores i posted i'm pretty sure i tried to turn off as much stuff as possible

AND i think i was using windows XP x64 for the tests with many services killed etc.. high performance setup :)

Moved to Software Chat.

It all depends on computer power. When I used to benchmark on Peacekeeper, I used to disable almost all the processes and use an untouched Firefox profile. Not only that, change the Power settings to High Performance.

Haven't been any benchmarks recently though. Cause I don't trust Peacekeeper fully and that means I try atleast few different benchmark sites before taking any decision.

i7 rocks, 1 month old profile, ~10 add-ons

firefox don't support some video playback formats, might affect the score

By the way,

Firefox can't pass this test, the 3rd level

(but, chrome can

sad! IonMonkey need more improvement)

Srware Iron 24.0.1350.0 (chrome 24 equivalent)

do you mean it failed on peacekeeper or the other test ?

the other test http://www.fabulant.com/downloadcenter/benchjs/benchjs.html

at stage 3 after few minutes

the script stop running and firefox ask whether stop the script

(if any activity or single mouse click. firefox freezes for few seconds)

Edit: Honestly, my firefox never passed this test (test 3 http://www.fabulant.com/downloadcenter/benchjs/benchjs.html )

hmm weird

but i know on Peacekeeper my test said 5/7 for HTML5

but i tried the one you posted and my Standard version of Firefox with some common addons seemed to pass that.

but i do not know how to tell if i failed a certain part it shows a ton of stuff afterwards but no break down or summary etc

unlike Peacekeeper that has a link that says "Show Details" which as i said in the first post that it showed a blank page for me

unlike previous version from years before that i logged and saved and still have..

unlike you i think the test pass ok for me

hmm weird indeed lol
