LiLmEgZ
My laptop has this Bluray ROM drive that wont read movie/game DVDs for anything... it will read Audio CDs just fine tho...Anyone know of a firmware flasher for it? I cant find one! This Bluray ROM drive that wont read for shit is on a ASUS N56V Series laptop.Edit: I read that these Matshita Bluray ROM drives are worth shit because they wont read certain types of DVDs.Edit 2: I inserted the Windows 7 DVD I have (just for the fuck of it to see if it would read it) and it read it... I don't know why it will read Windows install DVDs but not movies or game discs... very strange!

I also read a bunch of reports on these particular drives made by Matshita not wanting to read much of any kind of discs... at least mine reads Blurays (tested awhile back).I wish they would fix the problem via firmware flasher or something tho... its rather annoying it doesn't want to read DVDs considering that's one of the main purposes of having a disc drive these days......
