You mean it can also flash from external HDDs? That's a good news to me. :)

The problem with USB is, it needs to be in a format (I forgot whether it was NTFS or FAT32) for it backup (write) the current BIOS to USB. So external HDDs is helpful indeed.

No no no... I was able to read my internal hard drive right from the EzFlash util in the BIOS dude... I didn't even have any external hard drives hooked up at all!

Hmm. I think that's true. I remember seeing it too myself. Anyway, safety of flashing from the HDD may not be guaranteed.

It has to be formatted in FAT32 file system in order to work.
