Journey
Differences between MSE and Windows Defender?NOTHING!!The only difference is that Defender already comes with Windows 8, so no need to update it unless Windows Update calls for it. calguyhunk
Do we need update it on Windows 8 ?? on win. 8 , it is integrated with windows defender, how to update it ? :think:MSE is for Win7, not for Win8. On Win8, there's the native Win Defender, and it's a million times better, dunno why, maybe because it's integrated or something, 'cuz they must - in essence - be the same software :think:Technically though, you can still install MSE on Win8, but that's just LOL! :PThe scan times with Win Def are still pretty high, but unlike MSE, folders with a high number of executable files don't take half as long to open as with MSE. The features are still minimal, but a good default solution, if you do only light surfing and don't worry yourself silly 'bout a few extra features ;)
