Yes its amusing that people like plain and common antivirus such as ESET (In the past, it was a very good product).

what for do you need a powerful AV ?

Gotta second this. Currently one of my favourites, along with Emsisoft.

I think ESET is the best, light and effective.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus, last and final choice

current version using: 7

Poll on Antivirus in Nsane is useless because always will give only 1 result: ESET. :tooth:

ESET here is law. :win:

ESET SMART SECURITY V6 is the best.

Eset Smart Security V6 B)

just uninstall eset and install kaspersky and u will found many viruses which was skipped by eset ;)

the best part of it is that it had real time protection :)

the worst part of it would be u must have original windows os

Kaspersky AntiVirus for years one of the best, maybe the best, rare false positives .... and with my many download of "fix" :D

here 1 year license, very light read here from AV test

Windows provides a good firewall

As the man says ! Kaspersky always on or close to the top as Freddy I use KAV windows firewall but also Malwarebytes pro

can i use Malwarebytes pro along with kis 2013 ???

some says YES , since its not an av just complementary software , but IMO its a waste of pc resource sine both aim for detecting same malware so WTF?

peace :D

AV's ratings changes every month. It doesn't mean that you will change your AV every month. If you change your AV every month depending upon the ratings, trust me, you won't be a happy man regarding your computer.

The best way of getting a good AV is to try one. Use that till it disappoint you. Before selecting your AV, just consider a few things:

>Compatibility with your OS.

>Minimum system requirement proposed by the AV.

>Its impact on system resources.

If these things are cool then you will be a happy PC user. Keep the AV you have selected till it fails to protect you. If you got infected, now it's time to try another.
