Windows Firewall Control is a nifty little application which extends the functionality of the Windows Firewall and provides quick access to the most frequent options of Windows Firewall. It runs in the system tray and allows user to control the native firewall easily without having to waste time by navigating to the specific part of the firewall. Windows Firewall Control offers four filtering modes which can be switched with just a mouse click. Registered Users can take advantage of learning Mode and password protection.

What's new in version 3.9.0.0 (09.02.2013)

- New: Recently Blocked view in which the user can see the recently outgoing
connections that were blocked and from which he can create new rules based on the log.
- New: Added support for Global Hotkeys for opening Control Panel and Manage Rules
windows. Use the advanced tab that can be found in Options tab to change the
global hotkeys or to disable them.
- New: "Create new rules from..." window was simplified and integrated in the new
Manage Rules view.
- Fixed: Fixed incompatibility with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Notifications for a
program appear even if a rule to allow that program exists if the user uses MBAM.
- Fixed: Validation rules for ports and remote addresses were changed to avoid
situations when the user can input invalid parameters. E.g: 192.168.0.1-5.5.5.5
- Fixed: The buttons which clears the textboxes in the notification dialog are
missing.
- Improved: The password used for locking/unlocking the program is displayed in
plain text while the user types it and switches to **** when the user stops typing.
This is useful for the user to see his input.

are you sure ? because i uninstalled the program and removed my activation and reinstalled fresh and rebooted and it works fine for me.

maybe try again and if you had a previous version installed make sure to remove the old activation code if it existed.

not sure what else to suggest .

and everyone else i appreciate the feedback.
