Sound Issue

Hello nsaners :) ! Let me explain my problem ,my friend gave me laptop to fix it , and after installin windows xp on FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO PRO V2035 I have the volume turned up to max and yet the speakers are so low I can barely hear them. All drivers are installed correctly sound driver is VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller,when we opened it jacks inputs on first sight seems fine. What can be problem ? Maybe soundcard is broken or is it somethin with jack inpuuts ? Sound quality is ok its clear without crunks and beeps just volume level is so low even when you max all volume on windows and speakers aswell .I tested it on 3 differents speakers.Any thoughts ?

what about the master volume, is that set to low or high

and yes, I'm also talking about windows's own volume control

Follow Path

  • Control Panel
  • Sound
  • Right Click Speakers Icon
  • Properties At the Bottom Right
  • Enchantment Tab At The Top

Make Sure

Immediate Mode Is Ticked

&

Loudness Equalization Is Ticked

what about the master volume, is that set to low or high

and yes, I'm also talking about windows's own volume control

Master volume is set to maximum , sound is still quiet .

You may want to try the original (base) driver

I think that I tried that already but i cant remember , but will check it again .

I tried all of these but sound is still quiet .... Eh my friend doesnt care , I barely catch him to check this . Anyway I will not bother with this anymore cause he doesnt care , thanks for help anyway :)

Try DFX 11. It significantly increases volume level.

You can also try FFAudio (Available in K-lite codec pack). See the screenshot below:
