sanjoa
Hi, guys. How are ya? I was given a COMPAL NBLB5 notebook to repair (is a Chinese brand as Google search shows). I've done a clean installation of Win7 ultimate x86, everything works fine but not the webcam: it's not being show even on device manager and no driver found on Google. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance :)
rudrax
If your hardware is not detected in the device manager even as a unknown device, there may be no physical connection of the webcam with the mobo of the notebook. What was the OS of the notebook before you did the format? dcs18
I'd not worry too much about it - worth trying out a 3rd party Webcam program such as, for example Cyberlink YouCam.

rudrax
Then it should have no problem with ult. x86 too. Try what dcs18 says then report back.
