Hi folks.
as the title says ,I have installed yahoo mail app on windows 8 with mc pack 64 bit ,but the kaspersky internet security that I have prevents the app from opening,I have to pause protection to get into yahoo mail via the app.

If i resume protection after opening the app then it throws a splash saying it cant connect to the internet.
If I try to open the app with the protection on in the first place then the app loads but immediately goes to the background without any further progress.

Please advise me regarding network/firewall/application control settings that are needed to be fixed if at all to make this work.

All other windows apps like weather, store etc work fine.
Thanks in advance

Yahoo app is probably in restricted or low restricted sector.

Go to Settings/Application Control/Applications and find yahoo app, add it to trusted apps. After that it should be under Trusted sector.

Thanks ande

That worked fine for me,I am able to log in.

Only problem I was having was that the app there is named default.html. and not yahoo.app, as other apps are !!, but now its fine.

Thanks a lot.
