Hi, guys! How are you? I've got a problem with my HDD with current pending sector count. Is there anyway to get this fixed? What should I do? Thanks in advance.

I guess you should run CHKDSK once on all the drives, if that still doesn't change this, try using HDD Regenerator.

PS. Seeing at the "Raw Values" thingy, it looks like one sector is damaged, however, not sure.

As DKT says, run CHKDSK

Not solved? run HDDRegenerator (It will take time as hell in a dual core CPU, don't know if you have a quad core)..I prefer running it in GUIless mode by creating a bootable USB or CD/DVD/BluRay

Not solved? back your DATA up and perform a low level format..

Not solved? hammer it

Chkdsk /f did not work. HDD Regenerator tells me to upgrade when I use an older version and I can't use it

Can somebody provide me a boot HDD regenerator disc?

http://www.datafilehost.com/download-abee940c.html(Thanks to manu for providing a repacked version in ViP section)

Download it and install it..there will be a option to create bootable flash drive or CD..choose whatever suits you and get the job done :)

Good Luck

Firewall it and prevent it from calling home - now it doesn't know you use an old version.

I don't have a Firewall installed. Can somebody provide me the registered boot files?

Windows has its own firewall..you don't need to install it separately if you haven't disabled it already..

The link given by me is already registered..if you having problems in installing it in your system, then install it some other computer and have the boot disk created..then you can delete it of the computer..

Don't forget to back data up before using HDDRegenerator in your subject HDD..The product ensures data safety, although it's recommended by themselves to back data up.

Is registered?

You don't need to apply any crack or serial that's what I meant..

If somebody could provide me the boot files to upload to my pendrive, I'll be very grateful.

I firewalled:

  • HDD Regenerator.exe
  • hddreg.exe
  • Purchase.exe
  • Shell.exe

It worked fine. Use this method incase you want in future. :)

Well, I've done it in the morning. It found and recovered 14 sectors and 3 delays. What do this delays mean?
