Seojinist
..I had one trick, and Im currently using it. All you have to do is almost the same as for v5..boot in safe mode, go to HKLM>Software>ESET>Eset Security>Current Version>Info and change the "Package Features" key from (53) to (51)...this will allow you to update from a directory (ex: C:\offline_update_ess)....boot normally, open ESET(ESET's layout would mess up, but it's ok, just follow the next steps), press F5 and it will take you to advanced settings. Navigate to Update>Update and you will see that you can now edit where ESET will take updates from (the default setting is I think, Select Automatically)...Next is create a Profile for the offline update. My Profile = Online, Another Profile = Offline :)..Next, boot again in safe mode, change back the registry key you edited earlier from (51) to (53) and this will fix the messed up layout of ESET...boot in normal mode, and you will now be able to update offline and online using the Profiles you created earlier. :)

visualbuffs
anyone tricks about it :huh:actually offline update method is really risky!!example :your database 7800 (2012/12/25)and you download an offline update file which is 7911 (2013/01/09)how about if the uploader put some malicious code include on that offline update file?your eset will not detect it because your virus database is outdatedand it's not imposible for those people to put malicious code on that :P
