GiliSoft USB Stick Encryption helps you password protect USB drives, Thumb drives, Memory sticks, Pen drives, Jump drives and Flash drives.

USB flash drives are the most popular way to move data from one PC to another. They are small in size but can carry gigabytes of data. They are easy to use, convenient, affordable, but at the same time they pose a security risk and can be easily lost, stolen or misplaced. A secure USB drive with password protection is a must these days as the data that it contains may cost you millions of dollars if stolen or lost. With GiliSoft USB Stick Encryption your USB flash drives and all other external storage devices can be very easily password protected.

I do not see any way to enter the provided license key (only the option to purchase seems to be available).

How do I register this giveaway?

Thanks

Yes, I saw that readme but there is no box/menu to enter the provided license key.... Nothing in About and clicking the Register button only opens the homepage :(

Just figured it out :D

The registration prompt of this giveaway will only show after having encrypted the USB device (but strange enough the "Register" GUI button will keep showing even after the registration). To be more precise, it will only show when opening for the first time the secure area (by clicking the "agent.exe" file on the USB pen).

I confirm that when plugging the USB device into another computer and opening the secure area (by clicking the "agent.exe" file) the application remains registered.

I run RegShot (before and after) to see where the registration license gets stored (and what gets changed in the registry/file system) and nothing is detected... Where is the registration of this app going? Also on the USB pen (beside the "agent.exe" file) nothing seems to be written :wtf:
Anybody?

Thanks again

please install the software, then use it on your usb stick, create secure area on the stick, select password, open the usb stick thereafter and the secure area with 'agent' and you get the screen to put in the reg code.

Yes kaloo1995,

As I wrote in my previous post, I figured out how to register the app (I also edited with "To be more precise, it will only show when opening for the first time the secure area (by clicking the "agent.exe" file on the USB pen).") but my only 2 questions are:

1) Where is the registration/license of this app being stored (checked in registry/appdata/system/USB and I found nothing)?

2) Why is the "Register" GUI button still showing even after the registration?

Any idea?

@ demoneye

Beside the fact that:

- You do not seem to have read any of my messages above

AND

- Your reply does not contain any useful solution to the 2 questions I asked

could you please point me to the passage in the f****** manual (which I strongly doubt you have read) so that I can see where it says the things that I had to figure out by myself... Unless you were just typing an acronym for f*** sake ;)

Thanks dude, I am perfectly chilled but if you read the thread you can see that I am only getting useless replies from people who are not reading themselves... Now you come and tell me that I have to read?!?

You wrote "What he meant is, you should read", please don't be so vague and tell me what I should read.

Actually while you are at it, please tell me how RTFM is helping anybody ;)

'nuff polemics now, if somebody has an answer/solution to my 2 questions above, fine, if not, please spare yourself the trouble of replying.

Thanks
