Administrator DKT27 Posted January 4, 2013 Administrator Share Posted January 4, 2013 Good one DKT27.last question...on the download page...the business installer is x86, but i see an x86 and x64 update patch in the listing.is there an x64 version somewhere? The main installer is x86 + x64. The update patch comes in different versions. The update patch is only used for updating from older version (just saying).

circaal
For me I used defraggler but with a 2TB hard drive I rarely do a defrag. And it should increase the boot-up time of software. Because when a piece of software is installed it can be installed all over the platter of the HDD. Most pieces of defrag software arrange and move data to a certain area of the hard drive. That way it puts less wear and tear on the hard drive as the data for the program is in one place cause the head and the drive to not have to search on spin as much. Although I don't know if doing it weekly will have any noticable difference. I unsually run a defrag on my clients machines ever 6 months or so.-BTY

StealthyBoi
How about boot-time defragmentation is that safe or even recommended?
