majithia23
I have used Paypal for accepting payments from abroad .There are no charges incurred from accepting the payments . If there are any , they will be borne by the sender / depositor .However , you have to pay some charges when you transfer that money to your bank account in India .( Charges vary from time to time and upon the value of money transfer involved )Further , the money in your Paypal account ( which ever currency and what so ever the amount ) is automatically deposited / transferred to your Indian bank account after 30 days .The bank account which you have registered with your Paypal account .You cannot use the money in your Paypal account for making any payments , whether in India or Abroad .Registering is easy on Paypal . However , for enabling the account to handle the money you have to register an Indian bank account in which so ever bank and your PAN no . ( Given the bank account is in your rightful name and the bank allows you to do so and is equipped with such facility to allow E-Transfer via Paypal or other such payment portals )After registering there is a lil procedure where Paypal deposits some funds into your account and then you have to send them back the Deposit Acceptance Code which will be issued by your bank .Once the code is verified , you are good to go .This was the procedure when i enrolled and i think most likely it is the same .And the rules involving the money transfer are most likely still valid , as these are the RBI instructions which the Paypal and its users have to comply with .Credit cards registering is easy on Paypal . Debit Cards , m not sure . Coz they usually coz a trouble , because of a variety of rules concerning a variety a debit Cards . When i tried registering my debit card , it dint succeed .Credit card registering is rather much easier .Safety , well , Its safe , given you know how to handle such ( online banking ) issues well enough .Hope the info helps ! ;)And no idea about Entropay ...
