So i have a legal serial for this.After installing Win7 on my SSD i decided to download the current version again. So i logged in to my stardock account and downloaded the current WB7 (7.41) or so, they offer in their account for customers.Usually i am used to be prompted for activation just after installing of WB, now i installed this on new SSD - and nothing for activation.So my problem - i can install but not activate.I think they offer 7.4 as a simple update of previous one.Where can i get WB7 Enhanced? Why i (as customer) cannot get the enhanced version and instead download some eval. or update version?PS: After installing + activation of WB7 (7.3) and installing this 7.4 version over, i have my activation, but thats not it...Olexijl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rudrax Posted December 26, 2012 Share Posted December 26, 2012 Well, it seems, WB doesn't have automatic update facility so you have to go to the site for the update of your version and get a installer there then instal it to your computer..Things gets messed up sometimes..See, friend, some serials comes with some criteria like, you will receive updates for a limited period of time (3, 6, 12 months etc.) - you might wanna be sure of that if you aren't already..other criteria, may be, that key is valid for that version only excluding future updates..If the above mentioned two things can't be the problem, then the best idea is to contact stardock.. Olexijl Posted December 26, 2012 Author Share Posted December 26, 2012 After a while of experimenting i managed.The problem was irritation on my side - i was expecting the activation of WB7 directly after installation. That would be like before. WB 7.3 for example shows you activation directly after install.But it was however wrong expectation: the activation scheme changed, activation is now called "Registration of Stardock account" and you have to put there all your account data in - password of account inclusive - and serial. After registration of account your WB7 is activated and this registration window comes when you try to apply your 1st theme. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
