Is it possible to reverse a Thinapp'd (Thinstalled) application from the .dat file?

To be practical

I have a complete Office 2010 Portable (downloaded from the Net and built with VMWare Thinstall) with a .dat file that weighs about 1.2 GB

Since I am interested only in Word 2010, Excel and Powerpoint, I'd like to know if it is possible to retrieve the "original project" from the .dat file so that I can delete what doesn't interests me and rebuild a new Thinstalled application using VMWare Thinstall (that I have)

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I actually doubt this.

You can however, If you use VMware Workstation, install Thinstall on Win7 VM, run it (1st scan), install Office 2010 (you can get the exe or ISO probably here), set it up, make VLK activation and finally make a 2nd scan.

Here the thread for you: http://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/90297-microsoft-office-2010-sp1-pro-plus-volume-activation-guides-tutorials-tools-mak-keys/

Thanks for the reply. :)

Already tried.

I have (also) Office 2010 installation files, but it is a difficult task to make it portable because when you go on another PC it understands that it is not the same machine you installed it and asks for another key (on and on)

That's why I asked for a solution http://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/90297-microsoft-office-2010-sp1-pro-plus-volume-activation-guides-tutorials-tools-mak-keys/?view=findpost&p=488653 in the thread you linked, but nobody replied -_-

This Portable version I found works perfectly (it means that the guy found a trick) but it has too many programs of the Suite that don't interest me

it was a feature argmuent that Thinstall packs it the application into a non reversalbe entvironment that makes reversing/decompilation impossible,

How good this works - I don't know.

But they promoted Thinstall's (nowerdays thinapp) $8,000- compiler with that feature

I think it's impossible.
