HELP BIOS Breaks after Windows 7 Install

I installed Windows 7 and after the Completing Installation part it rebooted like it should and then after restarting my PC gets stuck at the BIOS. All BIOS Controls do NOT work. I can't access the BIOS nor the Boot Menu.

PS:

This is a result of a failed attempt to downgrade from Windows 8

Here's a video:

What were the steps you followed to downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7?

Edit:

Did you retry booting after having removed your USB external HDD(s), USB thumb-drive(s) and all other peripherals completely from their ports.

If the issue is still seen - just ensure that your primary HDD does not consist of more than 4 partitions.

I have 3 Partitions:

1 Primary Partition (the Full HDD)

1 System Reserved

1 Unallocated Space (which I didn't know where came from it was there! it completely blank. 0.0 MB)

I don't think your Motherboard is bricked.

I'd suggest booting with any partition management software of your choice to consolidate your partitions into one single volume (leave the System Reserved partition alone, though - we can use it as Plan B.) Acronis Disk Director Suite is what I personally use for ReSize purposes.

Format your Windows 7 afresh - all will be good, again. :)

I can't load ANYTHING. The Boot Menu is not loading. I tried reseating the CMOS but it only made it worse, now I can't go to the BIOS anymore because the Press DEL to run Setup is now gone.

Have you checked whether your BootDVD is able to run from your CD/DVD drive without your intervention.

Nope. Its locked there it seems

Your MBR is broken - that was the prime reason for asking what steps you took in your downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7.

It seems obvious to me that Windows 7 was unable to over-write the MBR - check the following post:-

Edit:

If you can manage somehow to get into Safe Boot with Command Prompt and execute the above instruction, you'll be fine.

Going forward (in another direction) let's try to boot and re-install your Windows7 using a FAT-32 usb thumbdrive (at least 4 GBs)

I'm hoping that somehow your USB port should be higher on the boot order and be able to trigger your installation.

Ok its the HDD. I removed it and everything worked. I managed to get through. Now, when I put in the HDD I don't know what's happening because I think I once again messed something up so I'm gonna try and fix it. While I'm doing that, how can I fix the HDD issue?

You can remove it physically (after ensuring that power supply is absolutely switched off.)

Hook it up as an external HDD to your working system - deep format it and after that's done perform a Check Disk for added insurance.

Install it back into where it originally belongs and let us know how it's getting along with a pristine Windows 7 installation.

I don't have an enclosure.

Are you able to enter the BIOS without the HDD - if yes, you can change the boot order to CD/DVD, first and then install the HDD to boot with your partition management CD to format and re-partition your HDD to accept a fresh Windows 7 installation.

The idea is to get rid of your corrupt MBR.

So the MBR is NOT in the HDD? SO I get my Partitioning USB Disk, Fix the MBR THEN Re-format the HDD?

Not sure if its an issue on your system as I'm not that familiar with the Asus machines, nor is it clear what the source of your OS disks was --- does your machine use BIOS that are booting into a UEFI mode? When you installed Win 8 if may have changed something that's misdirecting your computer to boot into a UEFI mode rather than a "Legacy" mode that it was probably in with an earlier OS. Some (like most of the newer Dells) are set up to boot into a secure UEFI mode that contains the Windows 8 license #. If you moved from Windows 8, that mode, or instructions left over from the Win 8 install, might be causing the conflict you're experiencing. Look in the manual for your machine and see if there's someway to choose between UEFI boot mode or Legacy boot mode for the BIOS. If there is, you may need to figure out how to switch to legacy mode in order for the machine to boot up with Win 7 again. On a Dell machine all it involves is a keyboard press when the logo comes on the screen (pre-boot), which takes you to a setup page that gives you this BIOS option. Maybe its something similar to that in your ASUS.

Not sure why someone is directing you towards the MBR file as a solution for your concerns. The mbr file should have been re-written when you did a clean install of the OS. Therefore I don't really understand why that would be a factor.

Anyway, that's my best take on what is happening. Hope it helps a bit, or in the alternative I hope someone with more knowledge than I have comes along to give you a hand.

Good luck!

Its not with the BIOS. Its with the HDD. My BIOS is operating normally without the HDD. I don't know if it really is the MBR but one way or another I want to format the HDD and re-install Windows 7 on it.

If you can access the BIOS setup now, then change the boot priority to USB or DVD, then connect your HD again and try to install some Linux distro luke Ubuntu, Mint or any other. If Linux installs and works ok, your Windows DVD is probably corrupted. If linux don´t work either, then most likely your HD has broken.
