tried fishing for more systemplague serials to no avail :(

oh well, at least now we have a serial to host on the fp, thanks for the 411 on the giveaway bro

also, the snowman on that promotion page kinda pisses me off...it looks like two billiard balls glued together with a gradient coating slapped on it, like they didn't even try

Please check the WOT ratings of that link: HERE

IObit is doing something. And i suggest users not to use the link but they can get the pro serial key. Everyone gets the same license key as said in many forums.

Here is the license key:

Site: paste2.org

Sharecode: /p/2644166 [?]

Note:

Directly Activate using this key on or b4 Dec 26th 2012.

Those bad ratings are because iObit stole some time ago malwarebytes anti-malware database and used it on their own anti-malware product :) The malwarebytes anti-malware developers noticed it and made that public so that iObit became a hated company.

This is not for that reason. Check iobit.com and check the ratings and check id.iobit.com and check the ratings. Both are for different reasons.

The MBAM thing is of the past, that's not the reason for the ever growing hate.

It's because it became a bloated resource hog sorry excuse for an app piece of crap, a new candidate in the long line of apps to go from good to bad with another example being tuneup

A few years ago, it even might've been good cause it was lite, it was safer, unlike it is now.

You don't even need to take a look at those sites for rating, just head over fileforum and look at the reviews made by people who weren't payed by iobit to give it 5 stars...look at the size of complaints.

Then go and take a look at their forums, especially the asc general area here, here, here and here

I understand that when an app comes out, it's still buggy to some degree and you're using the members as guinea pigs, but for how long?

For how long must they complain before they actually make it complaint-free...the answer, we're unable to comply

If you think iObit copied MBAM, are misinformed. It, infact, has copied other products from other companies too. :tehe: Start8 for example.

Either way, who said it actually stopped copying MBAM? After the outage, it just renamed it's malware signatures. Why? Because it took them just a week to release a new version with different malware names, how is it possible if it actually started with new signatures? And even to this day, it would probably be copying MBAM.

@vissha: Read this on top of WOT on id.iobit.com page:

Advanced systemcare and advancedwindows care as known before is really bad IMHO.

I thought I would give it a last chance.

Well again, it decided to shut down homegroup.

Of course I know how to re-start the services etc.

However even though I finely selected what I wanted and did not run during a scan, it still disabled peer networking.

So I will never use this program again.

Sorry to have gone a little off topic.
