drmembrax
Hi,I use Agnitum Outpost Security Suite 8 x64 on Windows 8.I don't know if I can rely on the antivirus part, so I would like to use another AV to scan critical folders.I already tried Emsisoft anti-malware (BIG updates, slow scan) and BitDefender Free (old AV engine, background service running).Of course i sometimes run MBAM.Do you have any ideas ? rudrax
If you think that you are infected, then, currently, you should run a scan with BitDefender because it is the best performing antivirus on date..If it fixes, all is well..if it doesn't, do a format. If you are seeking an antivirus for future not to get infected, go for a cloud antivirus as from your post, you are not seemed to be happy and all offline antivirus will make you to feel like that. Just in case i have Kaspersky Rescue CD v10 (USB linux bootable & free updates).I check small files on virustotal dot com, but for bigger files or ISO's must scan locally.rudrax you're talking about cloud av, i only know webroot's one (not free) and panda.
