[Solved] Another bug in Forums

Hey everyone, I wasn't trolling. The image turned out to be contained in my signature! I have removed the image and rehosted. It fixed the problem.

Members, please be careful about the sites you host images on.

that alert show because someone post image from freeimagehosting.net

if that image removed or move image to another image hosting, I think this problem will solve

Same here - so that warning is peculiar. I don't get any browsing with Google Chrome.

so either he's trolling or his own system is infected cause that's the only logical explanation as to why he's the only one getting that message while the rest of us aren't

i just tried it with opera and chrome portable and i don't get that message

Hey everyone, the image in question was in my signature! I was unknowingly hosting malware. I have such removed the image and rehosted on another (secure) site.

edit:

so either he's trolling or his own system is infected cause that's the only logical explanation as to why he's the only one getting that message while the rest of us aren't

Want me to host the image on the infected site again so you can see the error?

edit:

I was merely proving my innocence. I can reproduce the error if the mods would like to see evidence.

edit_2:

I know you're a mod and all, but does that give you the right to edit and add things to my post as you deem fit?

Why not edit it and have me say "I'm an idiot" while you're at it?

Yes my friend. Upon seeing you advice I did just that and it fixed the problem.

why bother?

you've already cleared things up so re-hosting the image on that site is pointless now

Yes it is pointless, but maybe you are a security expert for the site and would like me to reproduce the error. I was also proving my innocence. I assure you and the community that I will NEVER troll or otherwsie mislead them. I stand by my words.

How ironic :) Thanks for providing the clue to why you got that alert.

You're welcome. I hope this issue can serve to caution members about the sites they host images on.

@Avitar: Imgur is great. ;)

As the problem is solved now, I'm marking the thread as such.
