mara-
Don't take me wrong, rudrax, but you're stubborn, man. Just use the command dcs18 said to you, and that will restore original file if yours is tampered with. Don't take it from the other systems, it might not be the same sub-version. Also, do what Picollo suggested, it's good advice and it might be the cause of your problem. One thing you should also look is codecs on your system, possible malware infection, or your anti-virus has some issues. Cheers ;)
Administrator DKT27 Posted December 16, 2012 Administrator Share Posted December 16, 2012 As mentioned. Codecs, shell extensions, malware, AV, broken icons, media thumbnails, etc. Lot of things can cause this problem. All this, even if explorer.exe is untouched. rudrax
@All, I'm not facing any crashes till now after I have disabled the option 'Launch folder windows in a different process' (created by w7 manager for some good reason but turned out bad for me, may be), I guess, sfc /scanfile=explorer.exe should solve the bug if it pops up again in future, Till then, End of story. Thank you guys for replying :)
