mlauzon Posted December 15, 2012 Share Posted December 15, 2012 I have a desktop, it already has Win7Ux64 (retail, which I purchased the full version), so this question pertains to my laptop which is only a few weeks old, it has Win7HPx64 -- turns out the laptop can take 32GB of RAM, but because it uses HP, it will only be able to use 16GB -- so I know about Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade, but where the hell can I get an upgrade key that will keep my copy on the laptop a genuine version? Thanks bro , But Im a little confused with what you said in the post , First you said you - To post the key in, Windows Anytime Upgrade , and then u said , not to be connected to the internet ? Am I mistaken ? I too hv this problem , Im on Win7x64 Home premium and I want to upgrade to Win7ux64 , Initially i damaged my windows license in some way and that annoying wga crap is bothering me.. thanks in advance for your reply. Yes, because I want to be able to use more RAM, like I said in my OP, the laptop can take up to 32GB of RAM, I know this because I tried 2 sticks of 8GB with the 2 sticks of 4GB -- the laptop currently has 8GB (4x2) -- which made 24GB, and as you know HP can only use 16GB even though it saw there was 24GB.
