news Windows Phone 8 Has Issues with Transferring Large Videos

Windows Phone 8 has been deemed as a great mobile operating system by many users, yet it seems that the platform still has some issues that Microsoft needs to resolve soon.

One of them reportedly affects the video recording capabilities of the device, which should not be larger than 4GB. While users can easily record larger videos, they will be unable to transfer them to a PC, a recent article on WMPoweruser notes.

SkyDrive does not offer support for such large files either, which makes it a bit difficult for users to actually copy it to another device. They won’t have the possibility to play it either.

Should one user record a video in full HD resolution, the 4GB would be filled within 30 minutes or so. Many users have already reported the problem on Microsoft Answers, it seems.

The more I read these reports, the more I feel bad for Nokia. Pretty much the default first mobile for just 'bout everyone above the age of 20 in India and I'm guessing most of the world as well :(

Yeah you are right there was a time when nokia was popular in India..It's just good with its black & white version phones which are just for call & SMS..When it comes to technology, it does suck like hell specially with it's symbian phones :lol:

So much for packing small features with a hefty price tags with boastful marketing stature that made this giant(Nokia) fall on its knees.

And now samsung is repeating nokia's fault but only with a more cheaper value and low quality. hehe! :P

I have korean friends and they told me they never trust and never bought samsung products. Why? They just smile.

In my country, samsung is now the no.1 most bought cellphones and smartphones replacing nokia.

While microsuck is flooding us with tv commercials of its windows 8 OS.

Nobody would buy in their right mind a Windows phone 7/8 OS

So few apps and almost no developer would want to develop in that platform

Why? there's android, and a very tempting iOS market (where the rich like to buy apps and never use it. hehe!)

And the top smartphone manufacturers didn't want to risk in Windows Phone OS

Android phones is very profitable now and it is a very fast moving items

Nokia have gain a bad rep in our market and it seems irreparable.

Combine these two (Windows phone OS & Nokia's hardware) and Nokia is a sure fail.

Nokia must feel sorry for punishing its own workforce when it's their executives fault. :P

I own a Nokia Lumia 920 with WP8 and it absolutely rocks.

This is coming from years of iOS and android usage.

It's same if you have a flash drive or usb which is file system fat32.. the file won't be copied to another directory or drive,, even if you are using teracopy or such thing.. :)

how to do i copy my file : split the file with winrar and set to 4gb size.. as the result.. you will see a file extensions that is .001 .002 and so on.. :)
