volcom99
SO, anyone with Grub 2 knowledge help me out on an idea... What if you can use grub to fake the BIOS UUID and make basically a universal activated via the backup tokens... any ideas?
dcs18
On the BIOS front Windows 8 is equipped with stronger security than Windows 7 - Microsoft has stonewalled Daz on this particular front (sometimes makes me wonder whether one of the prime considerations for the release of Windows 8 was to actually preempt Daz and his ubiquitous loader.)
volcom99
What about Chameleon, used to load OS X on a system, with "SystemId=<UUID> Set manually the system id UUID" I don't know how it would load it into Windows because it normally bypasses when it loads windows
