Goldeneye on the N64 was the biggest FPS of all time until Call of Duty: Modern warfare knocked it off its perch 10 years later, and believe it or not Half-life sold more copies than Half-life 2.

Damn ... The Golden Eye ... I still remember getting hooked to that game .

And Medal of Honor , What a game ... Simply Awesome .

My attendances in school went short , i forgot to eat , dint know what was sleep , broke my fingers and my back just because of this one game ! :P

Followed it religiously till the "Pacific assault" edition ..... ! -_-

There was one more game , an excellent game with superb gameplay and awesome graphics - Sniper Elite ...

if any one you have ever played it ..

I've played Wolf3D, Doom, Half Life, and Portal from this list. All this inspite of not being a FPS gamer.

I must say, Wolf3D, Half Life and Portal, this three has been the biggest game changer in my view.

Not so long ago I came to know about Sniper Elite from SmoshGames. :)

Unreal Tournament, Half-Life, Doom, Duke Nukem, Wolf3D, Heretic

those were the games for me....never really liked Medal of Honor or COD or other FPS where you shoot people cause shooting people is no fun

shooting monster on the other hand...oh, the joy :troll:

I remember my first experiences using a computer and starting to play Wolfenstein 3D having a lot of fun in those days.

Also I've played Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake and Goldeneye (very fun in multiplayer mode).
