Warrior
Guys I've a netbook Sony VAIO SVE11115EN Processor APU Dual Core Variant E2-1800 Chipset AMD A68M FCH Brand AMD Clock Speed 1.7 GHz Cache 1 MB This is what Speccy shows about the installed memory Memory Slot 2 1 Free Type DDR3 Size 2048 MBytes DRAM Frequency 672.6 MHz CAS# Latency (CL) 9 clocks RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 9 clocks RAS# Precharge (tRP) 9 clocks Cycle Time (tRAS) 24 clocks Bank Cycle Time (tRC) 33 clocks Now I want to upgrade to a 4GB ram. So was searching on EBAY & found many with different details. How do I select the right RAM for my PC? What specs do I check to be sure? Thanks
mikie
Might want to go to crucial.com and run their memory scan.It should tell you what you have. I did a quick web search and page said spec said its 1333 speeds.. so probably it is DDR3 PC3-10600 for laptops. If you just plan on adding a single memory module.. match the chip mb size and quanity.. and voltage. Veboy
Find something that matches your frequency and timing, and size. It works on PCs. Not sure if it's the same on laptop mainboards. Why don't you take it to a Sony customer care and tell them what you want ?
jimbojet2011
Just buy yourself a DDR3 1333 mhz speed MemoryPre-installed/Max 2 GB (2 GB (SO-DIMM) x 1) DDR3 SDRAM (upgradeable up to 8 GB*2) SO-DIMM slots DDR3 SO-DIMM slots (Unused Memory slot 1) Memory Speed 1333 MT/s Or take your lap to the shop and let them put it in.grtzJJ
