mlauzon
I'm currently testing out Start8, doesn't seem that bad. I'll probably end up testing some others before I decide on one specific one. I am currently dual-booting my system between Win7 & Win8.

Sonar
Start8 Not sure why but when using this it gives a black screen that loads very slow after the windows flag on boot-up. Removed it and everything works fine. Classic Shell First one I used, Now back using, I don't seem to have a problem with this and booting up is fine. Removed it and everything works fine. Not sure why this is happening to you, Start8 is working fine on my system. A suggestion, try: StartIsBack. Classic Shell First one I used, Now back using, I don't seem to have a problem with this and booting up is fine. I tried it on Win7 last week, it sucked, so I went back and used the default one. Simon1245
Well, I haven't really tried this myself but I found this on youtube. Anyway, worth a try if you want the startmenu back without having to download another tool.

Oh you may be right as I haven't tried it myself. I sort of like the way it is, just takes a little time to get used to it.

dcs18
Great job done, mlauzon - IMO, the Start Menu is the one single-most factor that made me sustain a relationship with Windows 8 (it's that critical an element between yes and no.) :)

I don't need. But it'll be helpful for those who are on their way to "commercially FREE" products Or "commercially Paid" products.
