Right Click on TNOD.ini - Edit (or Open With - Notepad).

Change to Server=shorturls.tukero.org

ServerPath=/tnodserver

File-Save

Exit

Can you verify that this works? Anyways, the PureFix is better and rarely is broken ever, unlike the silly TNod :P

Yes, it works.With enabled "PureFix" ESET update definiton from v4 servers (yes, same as v5), but doesn't update modules od v5. :P

The modules are so updated! :P

Haha yeah the modules updated for my machines and the others after enabling PureFix, so HA! I had to do the module updates on all the machines after applying PureFix
Good news = yes, the modules do get updated and

Bad news = sorry, those are older modules from the previous version

Moral of the Story = before using a Trial Reset, configure your Update Mode (in the GUI) to "Never update program components"

Thanks nemanja065 for the super quick (and fantastic response), but I cannot find any file called "tnod.ini", and I checked to see if ESET removed it, but could not find it there either.

Any suggestions on where to look for tnod.ini?

Thanks again

This is fixed:

Installer:

Portable:

I use Portable. Probably located in Program Files if is installer version! :)

Wow is this confusing. The files included with Ulisess Seguridad for Tnod are not the same as the files so kindly provided by nemanja065.

But in neither case do I see any file called tnod.ini, so I am really confused. I have show hidden files checked, so it is very confusing why the .ini file is not present.

Anybody have any ideas?

When the rar files are unpacked, (from the rar that nemanja065 provided), I get 5 files, 2 with .txt extensions, the TNODUP.exe file, 1 called tnodicons.icl. and the uninstaller (uninst-tnod.exe)

I hate to be so unsophisticated, and I really appreciate the efforts the informed folks on this site go to in order to try to help us folks trying to learn.

Probably you are using installer.

Delete following registry

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tukero[X]Team\TNod User & Password Finder]

Run installer or use portable. I have updated package. So you don't need to replace anything but delete above registry.

* Stats: TNod_v1.4.2.1_package.rar (1894554 Bytes)

* MD5: 4d65a352b06e37be816d13ce11bc88dd

* SHA1: a449fb641208d3662d6374b3ed1aeeb446210352

Verify hash, disable eset and read the readme file before using it.

Download

http://www.nsanedown.com/?request=6815754

I will recomend you use installer as you are fisrt time using it.

Many thanks to anuraag & nemanja065 for all the guidance and instructions.

For any others that may be confused, I believe that the .ini file is in the portable version and not the installer version.

The readme states"Add to exclusion sites (including the asterisks): *tukero.* and *tnoduse*", does that mean the "list of addresses excluded from filtering" in NOD32?

Thanks again for all the help.

Thanks again anuraag, your expertise and guidance is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, Tnod still cannot insert an updated license (likely due to user error, as it appears others have it working), but at least the license can be manually updated.

to any others having issues, anuraag figured out that online armor was an issue, so if you are using online armor, you may want to check that out.

many thanks to anuraag for his wisdom, patience and kindness in explaining and resolving the issues. It is great folks like anuraag that make this an awesome site.

Great info Anuraag !!!:

Delete following registry

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tukero[X]Team\TNod User & Password Finder]

That key was here even though I only used the portable - deleted it, used your fixed version, and Presto! TNod works again.

(Too bad I paid them for a year about a month ago...)

Thanks for making it work again and sharing it !!!
