johndoe
you can use MBAM in addition to KIS for further bullet-proof security ;) AFAIK, you cannot have two active, memory resident antiviruses present and working simultaneously on the same Windows PC also, if you want a second antivirus in addition to both of the above, you could try out Clam Antivirus which is a non-resident, on-demand scanner (I don't use it personally so no idea of accuracy or efficiency but just the two above should be sufficient)
Ehsan
in overall, KIS and Webroot SecureAnywhere is a great security choiceI was using KIS 2012 and WSA until 1 month agoand only because of my internet limitation I was forced to uninstall KIS(AV and IS without update are nothing)
AlienForce1
If you insist to have two AV-s in your PC , a much better choice would be to let KIS deal with real-time protection of your PC and to make additional scans (when you want to) with ESET Online Scanner -> here is the installer :http://download.eset...staller_enu.exe . Using this installer you will can scan your PC (on-demand) anytime you want it , just to have a second opinion . Choosing ESET Online Scanner instead of Webroot gives you a few advantages : - no need of license (it`s free) - light - better detection rate - precision (ESET has one of the lowest false-detection rate) More details here : http://www.eset.com/...online-scanner/ , http://www.av-comparatives.org/images/docs/avc_fdt_201209_en.pdf +1 anuraag is right , KIS gives you a very good level of protection ... (PS : happy birthday anuraag ! )

This is very tiny software and looks very powerful. Waiting for your suggestions... Running two AV is a bad idea. It really affect systems performance and stability. KIS is excellent AV but it is high on ram and system, Kaspersky as one of the best detection rates and excellent removal engine. Whereas, Webroot is extremely light on ram and system, and the AV no long rely's on signatures instead it uses "Cloud" to find and remove malware. My advice will be use Webroot as your main AV, in addition, if you want you can use Comodo Firewall which has defence++ (HIPS) or Private Firewall both are available on Nsane.down. In addition, you can install Malwarebytes, HitmanPro, CCE, and Kaspersky Virus Removal Utilities.
avmad
Yes you can run them together. Exclude each from the other though. I think Kaspersky is enough on it's own though personally and you may have a few overlaps but shouldn't be anything bad.
