Years ago, I tried Foobar2000 and wrote it off for being too complicated (for me) and not good enough. But, recently I tried it and had a noticeable quality improvement. At the moment, I'm experiencing better sound quality than FFDShow. :o

Thanks for update . I have same or maybe even better experience with AIMP 3 , dont know is it placebo effect but clarity of sound in AIMP is perfect,and it has very nice and simple interface plus built in audio converter :). AIMP should be frontpaged ;)
