rajeesh Posted October 26, 2012 Share Posted October 26, 2012 Sometimes, when you install a new Linux distro in your PC and you didn’t set the boot flag correctly, you will often end up with a unbootable machine with the following error message (as shown in the left image). This happened to me while I were installing the Ubuntu 12.10 on my PC. The installation went fine, but when I reboot, the error message show up and I am not able to boot into my desktop. Since I am pretty sure I have installed the boot loader, the issue seems to be that the Grub can’t find the boot folder and read the necessary files. Here’s the fix.
