I installed Office 2013 Pro plus 32 bit volume licensed version but it has not yet asked me to activate it even though it says it is unlicensed. It is not showing any trial period either. Why?

Is it because I am not signed in? Does it mean I can use it forever without having to activate the software?

Volume License Edition has 30 days trial period unlike retail version is only 3 days. VL start to ask you for activation close to 30 days. To order to activate with MAK Keys :

1. You need to disable internet connection first

2. Open Office Word

3. Go to Account >>

4. Click change the product key under not activated display and start activating via Phone see the rest of the instruction posted on Page #1 >>>

After activation you can enable internet and make Office update without any problem. You wont get deactivated.

If I format my laptop and reinstall using the same confirmation key that I have now, will it work or will I have to do it through skype again? Is it possible to backup activation?

Confirmation ID is not going to work as the key gets block therefore only way backup/restore activation using MTK or ATK below:

I'm wondering if Office will still be activated if I try to do that re-install to the 32 bit, or If I'm going to have to start looking for a new key just to change to the 32? Might not do it if I'd have to find a new activation for it.

First try to activate using your backups but i remember you have activate online last time and both tools MTK & ATM only reactivate Phone activation both tools does not function if you activate online..!

Mray use any Phone activation MAK key on Page 1

Thanks for getting back on this november_ra1n. No one more helpful here on nsane than you. :)

I might just leave the 64 bit. I don't want to risk having problems with the activation again. Unfortunately, as it turns out some other software I need doesn't want to play nice with the 64 bit version of Office, which is why I was thinking about it. Didn't know until I tried the 64 bit version that there was a problem.

Anyway, as always my thanks to you! I'll work it all out.
