salik
hi all, is there any software out there that can converts your mp3 bit rate from 192 to 320? basically change the bit rate?is there?
Anteus
Yes but if you encode the bitrate up you won't get better quality than you already got, the file will only take more place. If you want better quality then you need a better source.

We've got a few programs up on the frontpage that can encode it down actually :P
Bizarre™
The best audio format, IMHO, is ogg vorbis.Even @ 48kbps it beats other codecs :P
Anteus
FLAC is good too but it's harder to find that's why I almost only MP3's.

Peace_Angel
I must agree with Anteus and Shought.Though, you could possibly convert another format such as 128 WMA or OGG to 192 MP3 and almost get the same quality as a 192 kbps MP3 converted directly from a CD.Just my opinion though.Peace. Bizarre™
@Peace_Angel:Why convert to 192kbps MP3 (>3mb) when you can convert to 48 - 64 kbps OGG (<2mb) :)
