sirri
THIS IS NOT JOKE - Tested by myself *** THIS METHOD ONLY APPLY TO WINDOWS XP 32bit YOU CAN TRY THIS METHOD ON VISTA BUT AT YOUR OWN RISK WARNING : DO NOT USE THIS METHOD ON WIN7 OR YOUR OS WILL DESTROY !!! What is NewSID ? Windows uses SIDs to represent not just machines, but all security principals. Security principals include machines, domain computer accounts, users and security groups. Names are simply user-friendly representations for SIDs, allowing you to rename an account and not have to update access control lists (ACLs) that reference the account to reflect the change. A SID is a variable-length numeric value that consists of a structure revision number, a 48-bit identifier authority value, and a variable number of 32-bit subauthority or relative identifier (RID) values. The authority value identifies the agent that issued the SID, and this agent is typically a Windows local system or a domain. Subauthority values identify trustees relative to the issuing authority, and RIDs are simply a way for Windows to create unique SIDs based on a common base SID.On November 3 2009,NewSID has been retired and is no longer available for downloadNewSID is a program we developed that changes a computer's SID. It is free and is a Win32 program. NewSID is a program we developed to change a computer's SID. It first generates a random SID for the computer, and proceeds to update instances of the existing computer SID it finds in the Registry and in file security descriptors, replacing occurrences with the new SID. NewSIDrequires administrative privileges to run. It has two functions: changing the SID, and changing the computer name. * MAKE SURE YOU BACK-UP YOUR SYSTEM BEFORE RUN NEWSID * if you have ObjectDock Plus installed, you have to re-install. INSTALLATION : Completely remove previous version of WB before install this one. 1. Go to NewSID Folder and run NewSID.exe, select [specify SID] and change your SID with this one: S-1-5-21-1808021631- 1553047175-750149628 DO NOT interfere, let it finish then reboot. 2. Turn connection off 3. Install WindowBlinds7.4_enhanced_setup.exe. (do not start the application yet, go to step 3) 4. Copy sig7.bin to the Stardock/Object Desktop/WindowBlinds folder in the Programs Files directory. 5. Block with 3rd party firewall or your security suite following files : - screen.exe - sevenconfig.exe - wb.exe - wbconfig.exe - wbload.exe - all .dll files in the program directory 6. Reboot 7. Now start WB7, it should be registered, check 'About WindowBlinds' to verify. 8.
