Well if its wireless try unplugging the receiver and plugging it back in. Sometimes that works, oddly enough. If it a laptop turn off the touchpad. Or if its plugged in try unplugging and plugging back in. And is this a brand new issue or a existing one with this mouse? If all else fails just get another mouse and return this one :)

As already stated above, it's the HTC wildfire S I was talking about

You obviously didn't read my post :D thanks for trying to help though... Do you know whether this is a common issue with the HTC wildfire S?

Sorry by bad I, it was late last night and I totally spaced and didn't even connect HTC is smartphone haha. Anyways after reading reviews people hate the phone. Random reboots, lockup's, phone freezes, screen doesn't respond and customer service is even worse. I didn't read one good comment about the phone. But there were no issues mentioning the cursor. But I don't believe you have a actual trackball correct? You have the sensor trackball right? I know my ex had a HTC and her phone was nothing but issues as well. Next time I wouldn't go with HTC, I never trusted them when they first came out. I would use a motorola or a LG. Could also go with the Samsung Galaxy S III, that seems to be the king of all smartphones at the moment.

I've never experienced random reboots... Which HTC phone was this?

Well, to be honest, this phone had been returned and repaired over some kind of issue... Was it cursor? Can't remember.
