like they ll stop supporting firefox 2 to turn ther attention to firefox 3...

Good idea from mozilla to stop with it and put their attention to firefox 3. Hope they can improve it even better than they did before.

Firefox 3.0.5 fixes several issues found in Firefox 3.0.4:

* Fixed several security issues.

* Fixed several stability issues.

* Official releases for the Bengali, Esperanto, Galician, Hindi, and Latvian languages are now available.

* Replaced the End-User License Agreement with a new "Know Your Rights" info bar on initial install.

* When installing multiple signed XPIs simultaneously, previous versions of Firefox would fail.

* Fixed several issues found in the accessibility implementation.

* Added the ability to send OS-specific system notes in the crash reporter.

There is one last update planned for Firefox 2 (2.0.0.19) and after that there will be no more new updates released.

The Mozilla folks have just released 2.0.0.20 - hope, they continue to support the V2 with updates.

But when V3 is out, why won't everyone concentrate their efforts to that end?

Don't u think its wasted effort? Every1 has their reasons tho... Sure wud lik 2 hear urs, Donaldo :P

Skidro, I agree with you - I'm onto V3 myself. That post was for the benefit of some souls who prefer V2 (V3 doesn't go well with everyone.) We got to try to help one & all. :P
