Pedrito
Today we are excited to kick off our Digsby open source initiative! The Digsby team has decided that the best way for us to deliver new features, and continue to evolve our product, will be to open it up to our most technical users. The Digsby community has always been helpful and supportive of the product, and we feel that by opening our source code we can give back and show our appreciation to Digsby’s most loyal followers. Digsby’s code is now available for your use and enjoyment: https://github.com/tagged/digsby. For all our non-coders, you can (and should!) participate too by submitting feedback and ideas to https://getsatisfaction.com/digsby. A few changes to expect as of Oct. 10: -Your information will now only be stored locally (on your computer vs. on our servers) -Video chat will no longer be supported -The Digsby Widget will be removed Our team will continue to drive Digsby forward by providing community and development support. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter for Digsby and we can’t wait to watch it continue to grow and progress!
