jalaffa
The Java Runtime Environment (JRE) provides the libraries, the Java Virtual Machine, and other components to run applets and applications written in the Java programming language. In addition, two key deployment technologies are part of the JRE: Java Plug-in, which enables applets to run in popular browsers; and Java Web Start, which deploys standalone applications over a network. Users should install the 32-bit version if they are using 32-bit browsers. If you use both 32-bit and 64-bit browser interchangeably, you need a Java Plug-in for each browser. Hence you will need to install both 32-bit and 64-bit Java respectively.Download

Administrator DKT27 Posted August 30, 2012 Administrator Share Posted August 30, 2012 The 7 Update 7 does not seem to install proper in Firefox 15.0 :s Even tested on a brand new VM setup with Fx just installed I'm still downloading. But you sure you installed the 32-bit version of Java? :)
jalaffa
But you sure you installed the 32-bit version of Java? :)Sure. Updating to 6.0.35 Java Console is fine. I get this message in Fx when so doing: When installing the 7.0.6 or 7.0.7 I don't get such a message in Firefox.
Administrator DKT27 Posted August 30, 2012 Administrator Share Posted August 30, 2012 Java Console is useless anyway (for us, only devs need it). What we need is Java™ Platform SE 7 U7 10.7.2.10. Check for that in Firefox addons > Plugins. :)
jalaffa
You are correct DKT27 :)Edit:The console thingy is not included with the 7 release even.
