Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. Google Chrome also uses a brand new javascript engine (V8), which is much faster than existing javascript interpreters. This means you can create more complex and more intensive AJAX applications with fewer speed and processing constraints. Finally, Google Chrome is built on top of WebKit, so Google Chrome users will benefit from the CSS3 features being added to WebKit as those features are released.

Thanks to Freddyfre and tuan.cse06 for the update.

Any Chrome junkies should be using Comodo Dragon instead. Same as Chrome (based on Chromium), with all of the same features but with the usage/data tracking removed. :)

does anyone know what the "m" stands for?

21.0.1180.79 m??

The "m" just means that you have multiple versions of Chrome installed. :tooth:

I dont think "m" stands for multiple versions since I have made a clean windows installation and after installing google chrome the "m" is still there...

edit: After reading some forums they say its for multiple versions... but I find it strange since I have made a clean install and "m" is there...

Chrome is better. We don't need some 3rd party company's crap.

That's one of the most ridiculous things I've seen the past few weeks. Chrome is based on Chromium, Comodo Dragon is based on Chromium. They are the SAME browser! The only difference is that Dragon has the DATA MINING removed. If you think having a KNOWN spyware feature of Chrome removed is some "3rd party crap", you may want to do a bit more research before spouting about somthing you obviously know nothing about.
