anuraag
Process Lasso improves system performance, responsiveness, and stability during high loads through dynamic adjustments to process priority classes. It can also automatically terminate undesired processes, apply default priorities and CPU affinities to processes, limit the number of instances a process can have, and log all processes. It is not a task manager replacement, but does have task manager like capabilities to compliment its primary functions. Process Lasso runs on all editions of Windows 2000, XP, 2003, 2008, Vista, and Windows 7.Thanks to sternog for the update.Download

keyman
Does this actually improve performance within a windows environment? I installed and it made the whole experience so much worse. :s Thanks for the update though! :) I've had mixed results with it. For the first few weeks after I installed it, it actually made my comp slower and programs started crashing out of the blue. But lately it does seem to be speeding my PC up. Maybe it needs to learn your computer usage first, so it can manage the processes better. Also, I'm not sure, but I have a sneaking feeling that PL and my KIS don't quite get along well... I'll have to look into that more.
