spudboy
I know how to change the Windows 8 lock screen and it works perfectly, but when I choose "log-out" instead of "lock" it displays the default lock screen wallpaper. Is there any way to also change the "log-out" background?

dcs18
Everything is possible - have not seen this OS catch on with Skinners, yet.
bin123
When your win8 is actived, it's possible. In Metro UI, click your account picture to change. You can see the Lock screen and Start Screen over there. Then changing whatever you want
Prognastic
You can see the Lock screen and Start Screen over there. Then changing whatever you want Yes, you can change the Lock Screen and Start Screen there, but when you log out you (well, I and some others at least) still get the default Lock Screen. Edit: Sorry for posting in such an old thread. This is the only mention I've found regarding the logout screen (which I'm having some issues with) so I posted with too much haste it seems. Finiderire
Hello,Does anyone has found a solution to remove Seattle picture from the Log Out Screen ?I don't even have a 'seattle' file on my Computer... May I say wtf ?Thank youa+, =)-=Finiderire=-Configuration :Windows 8 x64Edit : found it and tested succesfully with solid black screen picture instead of the original pictureNote that you will have to change Security Properties of folders in order to become Owner of objects and even give yourself the Full Control on them.1)Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData\S-1-5-18\ReadOnly\LockScreen_Z2)Copy the picutres3)Paste them in same directory4)Rename the old ones as <previous file name>-OLD5)Edit the new ones without modifying the picture dimension nor extension, save6)Log Out and enjoy
