rajeesh
Microsoft just announced the release of Windows 8 and put the date at October 26th. So far, it’s already signed off copies of the system to manufacturers, so we’re expecting that they’re practically done with the entire operating system. Before they launch, it’s a best practice to have a look into the good, bad, and ugly side of the operating system before you think about getting yourself a clean copy or upgrade. In light of this, we’re going to lay out the pros and cons completely for you so you can decide whether you want this running on your computer. dcs18
I don't think I'll even attend the funeral of anyone who was using Windows 8. <_<

dcs18
I honestly don't see the Windows 7 fever happening.BTW, why do Morons get to blog it out on substandard articles like these?

mikie
w8, it kind of reminds me of reverting back to win 3.10... starting over in infancy. The beginning of new things to come.
Maxhedroom
I've always said that the only way I'll give W8 a try is if they make the Metro UI optional. I still think that after enuff users complain they might make an option to default to desktop mode as boot. I don't want my new rig looking like a giant effing iPhone! The only real feature that I'm interested in is that with the latest IRST driver and OROM installed it is now possible to pass the 'trim' command to disks in a raid array. This will never be the case with W7 as it lacks the needed API. Word to the wise...if your wanting to give W8 a try without VM then make a backup image of your boot drive so you can easily switch back if you don't like W8. Eventually I will give it a shot...but I like to give any new Windows release a few months time to allow MS to issue any major updates and/or tweaks. Also after a few months there will be a LOT more known about W8 and how to tweak it...and just maybe a crack as well. Heh...I waited until SP1 was issued before switching from XP to 7...lol
