myidisbb
iwhen plug in a computer now it saysplease insert disk into driveall the sites i look at for fixing the problem seem to be scam sites.they talk about low level format but it seems i need an xp or 98 computerif you google usb insert disk you find what i mean. most download fixest seem to be virus, other few are so called low level format fix that requires an 98 or xp instead to make it work bs. and there there is the click on this scam selling part before we allow you to downlaod this fake file etc.is really a fix for mess up usb sticks? Nima
You do not have to use Windows XP or 98 for low level format, you can use, for example, this free program to do that even on Windows 7. ^_^http://hddguru.com/software/HDD-LLF-Low-Level-Format-Tool/

myidisbb
it does not see the usb device since when clicking in in windows explore gives you insert disk request.
rudrax
Must be a hardware failure..try that thing in your friends computer and try it in linux..if still you can't read the stick, be sure of hardware failure..get your warranty.
