Emsisoft Anti-malware issue

Today, on one of my PCs i noticed Emsisoft start detecting legitimate executable files.

Here is something from Emsisoft forum:

As we know that Emsisoft will soon replace ikarus with BitDefender Anti-Virus engine, do you think ikarus did this by accident ?

Also, as we can see similar things happened with Avira, MSE, etc., (whom) can we trust, and what to do to prevent similar problems.

Bearing in mind, Ikarus is good AV, even in VirusBullet it has good detection rating. However, it tends to find alot of false positive. I am sure Emsisoft takes the note of false positive seriously, due to it depends on their reputation.
