Recently, I reformat my PC and reinstall my Windows XP Pro.

A new fresh of system needs lots of updates.

I try to install few software from Microsoft like IE8, Media Player 11 and MS Security Eseential.

and some others 'special' windows updates that need Genuine verification.

Unfortunately, I was unable to make my Windows genuine as I already activate before.

The MS website prompt me that my Windows XP is no longer in store, they ask me to buy the windows 7 instead.

How i suppose to solve this problem ?

Is there ant verification files i can insert into my system so that it will pass through the genuine verification proses when I try to install those updates and software from MS ?

Thank you.

Why don't you upgrade to Windows 7? :)

Windows XP is really out-dated and it's so much better to be replaced by Windows 7.

I am sure Windows 7 won't disappoint you. ;)

Anyway, for Windows XP, I recommend you the releases which contain all updates until now and pre-activated, so the only thing you have to do is to install the Windows.

There are many links on the net, tell me if you did not find a good one. ;)

About bypassing the current activation, I have no idea. :)

Windows XP has been discontinued by Microsoft so you can't update it anymore. This has been done because of the upcoming windows 8.
