rudrax
Hey guys, Is it possible to turn the display OFF of a notebook whenever I want to..? The Vaio CW series notebooks used to have a turn display OFF physical button, which was pretty handy..But I have got a EB series notebook lake of that feature.. Isn't it possible to create a virtual display OFF button as we used to make a shutdown batch (.bat) file? NB: I can do it via power setting, but it will remain set like that till I change that next time.
dcs18
Yes, it's know as Screen Blanking - the key combination differs from laptop to laptop. ;)
Avitar
if the feature is not built in, "dexpot" offers a blank out feature that can be assigned to any shortcut.
