rajeesh
A strange problem affected Google Chrome users for several hours, many searches got redirected to a blank page rather than the standard Google Search page. The issue was quite widespread as it popped up all over the place, in the Google help forums, on Twitter, on Hacker News and so on. The issue has been fixed now, but Google isn't quite sure what caused it yet. An update on this could be coming, but Google just as well find out the cause and move on, without telling anyone about it. "The issue that was affecting search in Chrome should be resolved for most users. The next order of business is figuring out the cause, and making sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks for hanging with us through the rough patch," Google said about the problem. The issue seems to have been related to the default Google search string in Chrome, as manually adding Google to the list of search engines alleviated the problem. http://news.softpedi...ch-278850.shtml
