I started using this application versus Nero; which I've been horrifyingly witnessing become more and more bloated as the version number climbs. This app handles the Nero extensions, so I'm sold on its convenience and ease of use. Thank you for tracking this application. :dance2:

I second that. I used to love Nero at some point but now I HATE it! CDBurnerXP is one of the best burner programs available, it has all the features I need and it's only a couple of megs!

Your welcome. Nero 9 forced me to switch (read why), and so far, so good. :dance2:

The last decent version of Nero IMHO was 6.X but still CDBurnerXP never failed me, I just wish they change its outdated name LOL

Thats probably just because XP never failed on them neither. ;)

Well, I meant more about the "CD" part, but the whole name really should be changed, when this program started (correct me if I'm wrong) it only supported CDs (hence the original name) and was designed on operate on XP, but now it's a fully fledged burning solution and I think it's compatible with most Windows flavors.

Maybe they should change it to something like "DiscBurnerXT" or something ;)

I totally agree, the current name can be misleading. Nero is a far better name. Lets call it aka DiscburnerXT from now on. :frusty:
