i doubt it true! I dont thinks Avast and Microsoft are most used AV in world!

I dunno bout the rest of the world, but those are the ones I use. Though I detest MSE for it's abysmal scan speeds. Especially next to Avast (which is blazing fast without compromising on security) and especially when scanning folders with multiple executable files :wtf:

Yes, that was some time ago. They were the only ones to offer a free, credible alternative to the paid for programs from Norton, McAfee, etc. and quickly became the default go-to AV for most people looking for a free app ;)

Using a data set consisting of 120,000 data points, is that 120,000 users? If it is that's a small minority so not the whole world :lol:

It's just a survey. Of course it's not perfectly accurate. It's not meant to be. But I suppose it does give a pointer/indication of the market trends/consumer habbits ;)
