ImageCFG GUI v1.1

I've noticed that some games have problems with dual-core processors, and according to what I've read the only way to fix that is to manually set the game's CPU affinity to single-core.

Setting the affinity manually every time you start the game (through the task manager?) can be rather tedious, but there is another way to do it once and for all by using a small console application called imagecfg.exe, but since it's a console-only it can be confusing for inexperienced users, so I've decided to make a GUI for it so it can be a bit easier.

Here's a screenshot of the GUI I made:

It's fairly straightforward, just browse for the game main *.exe file, and choose the CPU affinity (or leave it at the default value), then press Set Affinity, and that's it. The game's affinity will always be single-core from now and hopefully that will eliminate the problem.

Note: I guarantee that the program is free of any harmful code whatsoever but I'm not responsible if you mess things up (I wonder if it's even possible), that being said, this is a FREE program so feel free to use it or distribute it to your friends and if you stumble across any bugs pls. lemme know and I'll fix them ASAP.

What's new in version 1.1:

Now as requested by PXN, the GUI supports Quad-Core processors.

hmm interesting application... Good job on the GUI. Any chance there is a Quad core version of this application?

First of all, thanks for your response.

I can easily tweak the GUI to support Quad-Core if you like, the original console program support multiple cores so it shouldn't be too hard.

I'll make it later and update the thread :P
